Welcome to GTA: California.
This ain’t no arcade shootout or free-for-all server—this is strict text-based roleplay in the heart of Los Angeles, 1993. We’re all about realism, character development, and West Coast gang culture, with a sprinkle of OOC professionalism to keep it fair for everyone.
If you wanna bang on the set, pull off heists, or make a name for your crew, learn these rules first, cuz once you out there in the streets… ain’t no excuses.

Server Era: Los Angeles, California – 1993
Mode: Strict Text-Based Roleplay
Platform: Open Multiplayer (SA-MP)

GTA: California is an immersive, realistic roleplay server set in Los Angeles during the year 1993. Players are expected to roleplay within the limitations of the era, respecting the time period and the community’s standards for quality roleplay.

This guide provides a comprehensive set of Rules of Engagement, Faction Regulations, and Roleplay Guidelines to ensure fairness and realism across the server.

---

🎬 Welcome to 1993 Los Angeles
  • The server takes place in Los Angeles, California, not Los Santos.
  • Time period is 1993, so roleplay accordingly (NO iPhones, NO modern slang like “Cap”, keep it real).
  • We’re here for heavy story-driven RP, not DM servers. Every move matters.

1. RULES OF ENGAGEMENT (ROE)
"Handle yo’ business right, or get handled."

What’s a Faction Attack?
Pullin’ up with guns or melee weapons on a faction = automatic faction attack.
Don’t matter if they in death mode or already hurt—if you swing or shoot, it’s an attack.

Cooldowns:
Brawls (fists only): 3 hours cooldown for BOTH sides.
Faction Attacks (guns/melee): 1 hour cooldown before you can retaliate & 6 hours if the other faction doesn't retaliate.
Weapons in brawls? Then it becomes a faction attack.

Example
- BPS attacks KPCC—it triggers a 1 hour cooldown for KPCC and 6 hours for BPS.
- If KPCC doesn't retaliate in 6 hours—BPS can attack again.

Main Rules (Street + Simple):
✔ You can’t mob into a turf just to kill randoms. No block wiping.
✔ Weapons gotta make sense (don’t bring an AK for a fistfight beef).
✔ No shooting taggers AFTER the fact. If you catch ‘em tagging live? Handle it.

Allies:

One ally per attack (gotta have 2 weeks IC relationship proof).
Allies also get hit with 6-hour cooldown.

New factions:

Gotta be open for 1 week before you can start beef.

---

⚠ Examples for Clarity:
✔ Faction A tags Faction B’s wall. Faction B shoots right after? That’s an attack.
✔ Faction A robs Faction B, B pulls guns? That’s an attack on B.
✔ Faction A circles Faction B turf 3 times and lingers for 5 min? If B reacts, A started it.

---

2. FACTION WARS
"This ain’t a one-night thing, it’s war."

Uncontrolled War = No formal agreement yet, still following ROE.
Player Controlled War = Both sides agree, set terms, exchange rosters.

Rules for Controlled Wars:
✔ Faction must be open for 7 days (unless both agree otherwise).
✔ 48-hour cooldown for bringing back PK’d members.
✔ No cutting the war unless approved by Faction Team.

---

3. FACTION TURFS
"Turf ain’t just paint on a wall—it’s power."

  • Factions active for 2 weeks can claim turf.
  • Must be active in the hood you claim.
  • Entering another turf just to provoke? Punishable offense.

---

4. CHARACTER KILLS (CK)
"One shot, one story gone."

  • CK = Character permanently dead.
  • Requires valid IC reason + FTC approval.
  • If you die while attempting a CK, you CK too.
