W/S UNDERGROUND BLOCC CRIPS (ROLLIN 100'S)
The "Westside 105 Under Ground Blocc Crips" (UGBC)" are primarily (non-exclusively) African-American street gang and is often regarded as one of the militant and deadliest street gangs situated on the West Side of Westmont in South Central, California. Their neighborhood expands from W 103rd all the way down towards 108th (Normandie Ave to Denker Ave).
The UnderGround Crips fall under the "Blocc Crip" card whilst identifying with the "Rollin 100s" umbrella.
The gang also consists of three differentiated cliques, the 103rd Street, 105th Street and the 107th Street Clique. 106th Street has also been adapted as a fourth clique for the UGs.
Underground History
The Underground Crips have been an active set since 1972 and were originally a spin off of the Original West Side Crips, ran by Stanley "Tookie" Williams. Monkey Man, who's a well known original Westside Crip member (in the Rollin 100s faction) is regarded as the founder of the Underground Crips and is responsible for the gang's formation and identity growth throughout the 1970s.
The founders were known for dwelling and spending most of their time in a basement of a property situated around Western and 104th Street, taking inspiration from the infamous Curtis Mayfield's "The Underground" from 1971, further exemplifies the gang's identity.
Color Scheme/Dress Code
The UGC often sports the logo of the Baltimore Colts as a way of cultural identity and connection to their neighborhood, utilizing the horseshoe as a symbol for the letter "U" in Underground.
They'd primarily rock Navy Blue as a representation for the Crips but would also experiment with darker colors like Black, Grey and Brown to represent the "UnderGround" of their title.
Westmont's Most Feared

An article from the Los Angeles Times' Homicide report repeatedly identifies the Westmont/Vermont corridor as among the county's most fatal zones to enter, gaining the "Death Ally" moniker with numerous reports of killings since the early 1990s. These particular events have been in connections to crip-on-crip violence, blood-conflict and other rivals of the UGCs.
Conflict With Rival Gangs
The Hoovers
This conflict between the UGCs and the 107 Hoover Crips (before they turned "criminals") has been on-going ever since January 4th 1979 where some UGBC members allegedly shot and killed O.G Lil Ani who was a respected of the 107 Hoovers. Another reason to the conflict pre-dates back to 1975 where the UGs didn't like the formation of the 107 Hoovers being directly in their territory, specifically their front doorstep.
The Inglewood Family Gangster Bloods
The UGs and IFB were never-known for friendly altercations towards each other, with both turfs neighboring one another, territorial friction would have been the common factor for their consistent beef. Another reasons would be through alliances, with UGBC ties to the Rollin' 0s Crip alliance and with IFGB's profound hatred towards Neighborhood deuce gangs (leading them to partner up with the Eight Tray Gangster Crips as they share the same rivals), the beef was bound to commence.
Internal Crip Conflicts
Like most Neighborhood (2X) gangs in South Central, The UGBC have maintained a persistent feud with The Eight Tray Gangster Crips (3X) and has no plans in defusing the war, with their alliances being on opposing sides only exacerbated the tension between the two sets. The Criminal Underground
The UGs have had known reputation for operating numerous illegal endeavors all over South Vermont & Westmont, such as;- Car Theft & Auto Theft
- Residential Burglaries
- Support Crimes, assisting in drive-bys, drug sale co-ordinations and joint shootings to help other Crip gangs.
- Armed Robberies, of individuals, local stores, and several stash & drug houses.
- Extortion, with reports of UGBC taxing younger hustlers and extorting those who were operating in their territory without given permission.
