The BH Bullet Boyz, commonly referred to as BHB, are an emerging street gang from the Ganton Blues. Many claim that the group started to take shape in the early nineties, particularly in Willowfield or Idlewood, as a surge of Bosnian immigrants relocated to Los Santos after escaping the violent conflicts in their homeland. The children, raised in South Los, encountered relentless bullying, animosity, and the everyday struggle of living in areas already fractured by deep-rooted gang conflicts.
From that tension, the Bullet Boyz emerged. What began as a group of Bosnian kids bonding in schoolyards and alleys soon evolved into something greater. Having very little support apart from one another, they turned to the Mexican-American culture around them for guidance, inspiration, and a sense of self. Graffiti, tagging, loyalty to the neighborhood, it all became ingrained in their essence.
Elderly Bosnian individuals who experienced the war frequently share tales of what they witnessed in the Balkans. That trauma spread into the streets of Los Santos, fostering a generation of youths who were quick to fight, draw guns, and defend their territory. To those on the outside, BHB appeared erratic, a small neighborhood with nothing to lose and everything at stake.
