E/S LONG BEACH ROLLIN 20s CRIPS
The Rollin 20s Long Beach Crips also known as Twenties, Eastside 20s, or simply the 20s are one of the largest and most well known crip sets in long beach and all of southern california. They were founded in the early 1970s by young Black youths coming out of the Eastside neighborhoods near 20th Street, Atlantic Avenue, and Anaheim Street. Their turf historically stretches from the carmelitos Housing Projects through the poly high school area down to Signal Hill borders. The 20s have deep roots in long beach street politics they’re known for their old school cripping style, block loyalty, and iconic war with the insane crips, which is one of the longest running crip on crip rivalries in LA County. Over the recent decade, the Rollin 20s have maintained connections with the larger Neighborhood Crips (2x card) but stand out as an independent rollin card with unique LB flavor Many well known rappers, local athletes, and street figures have repped the 20s. The set is respected for holding their turf down, especially at Carmelitos and the surrounding Eastside blocks.
